Magno Álvarez; «cobarde y sinvergüenza»

El conocido político colorado Magno Álvarez, sigue sin honrar la suma que le adeuda a un exfuncionario que despidió sin motivo y cuyo caso llegó a los estrados judiciales, precisamente por que el político, cobardemente rehuyó a su compromiso. El mismo soporta una demanda civil y laboral, entablada por Aldo Andrés Duarte, debido a que no tuvo el valor, la humanidad ni la hombría suficientes para reconocer su falla. Ante este hecho, Álvarez fue escrachado por un grupo de personas que se siente indignado por su repulsiva actuación.

De acuerdo a los antecedentes, Duarte trabajó en la empresa «Magno Álvarez Producciones» que usufructuaba, en un tiempo no lejano, un espacio televisivo en TV Cable Paraná S.A. Sin embargo, Álvarez despidió sin motivo a Duarte y no le abonó absolutamente nada en concepto de indemnización, pese a que Duarte, además de ser su funcionario, también es su ahijado.

Álvarez no tuvo consideración para «deshacerse» de Duarte sin contemplación y, lo peor, no le pagó, en concepto de indemnización por despido injustificado, ni un solo céntimo, por lo que el afectado recurrió a la Justicia, pese a que mucho no quiso, ya que le pidió llegar a un arreglo amistoso, al que de igual manera, cobardemente se negó Magno Álvarez, según refiere la denuncia.

La demanda fue presentada el 14 de marzo de este año en el fuero civil y comercial.

Asimismo, en varios sitios del Alto Paraná, amigos que se solidarizaron con Duarte, colocaron pasacalles en diferentes puntos del departamento, donde se le requiere al político su falta de delicadeza, de hombría e incluso le tratan de » cobarde y sinvergüenza».

Duarte, según referencias, trabajó al servicio de magno Álvarez desde los 15 años, realizando todo tipo de tareas y al cumplir la mayoría de edad, fue contratado para realizar trabajos de camarógrafo y editor de noticias. Sin embargo, pese a la lealtad de Duarte, Magno Álvarez, de igual manera lo dejó en la calle, a sabiendas que el mismo tiene dos hijos menores a los que debe seguir manteniendo.

Álvarez fue citado por el Ministerio de Trabajo tres veces y no compareció ante la citación.

Gobierno renueva compromiso frente al problema de las drogas en reunión de NNUU

En su carácter de jefa de la delegación paraguaya, la ministra de la Secretaría Nacional Antidrogas (Senad) Zully Rolón, ratificó el compromiso frente al problema de las drogas en la reunión de la Comisión de Estupefacientes de Naciones Unidas.

Del 14 al 18 de marzo se desarrollan las reuniones del 65º Periodo de Sesiones de la Comisión de Estupefacientes de las Naciones Unidas, de manera presencial, en la ciudad de Viena, Austria, y en formato virtual. De ese modo, participa el Paraguay a través de la ministra Antidrogas, Zully Rolón, como jefa de la delegación nacional.

La misma está conformada igualmente por representantes de la Senad, el Ministerio de Salud Pública, el Ministerio Público, la Cancillería Nacional y la Misión Permanente del Paraguay en Viena, informó el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.

Durante la intervención del Paraguay en el debate general, se ratificó el compromiso del Gobierno Nacional en los trabajos de la Comisión como país que apuesta al multilateralismo.

En ese contexto, recalcó los desafíos asumidos con la Vicepresidencia de la Comisión Interamericana para el Control del Abuso de Drogas (Cicad) de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA), y la Copresidencia del Mecanismo de Coordinación y Cooperación en Materia de Drogas Celac – Unión Europea.

Asimismo, se señalaron los logros nacionales en la lucha frontal al narcotráfico, con un daño patrimonial en el 2021 de 241 millones de dólares, así como los avances en otras áreas como el desarrollo alternativo, integral y sostenible.

Igualmente, se mencionó el uso del cáñamo y del cannabis para fines industriales y medicinales, resaltando que la cooperación internacional es esencial para el abordaje efectivo del problema mundial de las drogas y el cumplimiento de las metas trazadas.

En el marco del 65º Período de Sesiones, el Paraguay organizará eventos paralelos conjuntamente con socios cooperantes bilaterales y regionales como Canadá, España, la Cicad y la Junta Internacional de Fiscalización de Estupefacientes (JIFE).

En la ocasión, se debatirán temas actuales de la política nacional sobre drogas y su implementación, así como las estrategias y acciones adoptadas en el marco de los foros especializados en la problemática de las drogas.

Paseros cierran paso fronterizo y exigen volver a trabajar

Miembros de la Asociación de Transportistas de Cargas Internacionales de CDE (A.T.C.I. CDE) se movilizaron esta mañana y cerraron el paso al Puente de la Amistad como medida de protesta. Los trabajadores del volante piden que los dejen trabajar de nuevo, ya que están paralizados desde el inicio de la cuarentena sanitaria. Según cálculos, ya dejaron de percibir unos US$ 5 millones por causa del cierre de la frontera.

El presidente del gremio, Ever Rodríguez, dijo que no abrirán el paso fronterizo hasta que las autoridades les den una solución a su problemática. Indicó que los agremiados están sin trabajar hace 120 días. Rodríguez explicó que quieren que se autoricen nuevamente los despachos menores (hasta US$ 5.000) y el tráfico vecinal fronterizo (hasta US$ 150). Pidieron una reunión con el director de aduanas Nelson Fleitas, pero el mismo se encuentra en Asunción.
